Sound video feedback and learner response

1. Mr Halseys Feedback:

WWW: This meets the brief perfectly- a great choice of song and clips that are totally parallel and contrapuntal. The opening is strong- the audio could easily be from the original film ( I'm assuming its not) and then the switch to Voldemort gets a laugh from the audience to demonstrate how effective the switch is.

EBI: the video was only made up of two film clips rather than a selection/ collage but it so clearly demonstrates an understanding of sound I can't really complain!

2. Sade's Feedback:

-WWW: The clips were great and i loved the contrast between the music and the 2nd clip:)

-EBI: i dont have any

Rish's Feedback:

WWW: Very good choice of song, great reaction created with the Harry Potter scene.

EBI: Nothing, Everything was great!

Ashleens Feedback:

WWW: Great Media images and music choice - It shocked me.

EBI: none:) lucky you....

Krissies Feedback:

WWW: I dont know what i just watched , but i love it. Good contrast betwwen the two clips

EBI: idk.... chcek timing?

3) Now reflect on your work and write your own evaluation of your video. Write a 'What went well' (WWW) paragraph and a paragraph for 'Even Better If' (EBI) underneath the rest of your feedback.

WWW: The song choice couldn't have been better , Ariana is an icon and the song fit the two video clips perfectly.
EBI: Next time we could maybe use more video clips or more photos

4) Learner response: compare your own video against your evaluation of the top three videos in the class. Whose did you think was best and why? How could you have improved your own video?

Sade's video was AMAZING!! the second clip she used was shocking it genuinely traumatised me😂
She accomplished what she was trying to achieve for sure

5) Finally, what have you learned about the importance of sound to film and TV through this week's work?
Mr Halsey has definitely taught us how important sound is alongside with this weeks work, Consumers will forgive lighting but will never forget bad sounds or audio.
