Film poster analysis

 .BLADE RUNNER ANALYSIS

I think that this film is a sci-fi film due to the use of the colour scheme and the props. The use of the colours like white and green and a little bit of blue suggests that the film is going to be about a powerful man who is trying to save the world  from something evil(maybe aliens). The use of the close up shot of what looks like the main character can imply how he's going to be the main protagonist of the film and the person we see the film through (his perspective) That shot can also communicate his facial expressions to the audience as he looks a little distressed(due to him sweating) but ready to taken on whatever is on his way. He looks powerful. This perfectly enhances the stereotype of men being strong and powerful. He looks like hes doing a great job at what he's doing ,due to him sweating it illustrates to us an audience  that he's putting his blood, sweat and tears in.This movie seems to be set in 1980's. I can clearly see this in the typography. This would've applied to an  80's audience as the was the time period where smoking was kinda normalised and was seen as a trend. I believe that this movie is aimed(target audience) at 16 year old +.
SCARY MOVIE 2 ANALYSIS
I believe that this film is a parody of an actual scary film due to their facial expression. The facial expressions are  predictable which indicates to us that this movie is going to be funny yet a little creepy. Everyone on the film poster is somewhat the protagonist and the all have an equal space in the shot. The use of the colour scheme strongly emphasises  the eerie atmosphere as we associate the colour red to death, danger etc. I think that the genre of this movie is horror comedy so therefore i can infer that this movies target audience would be 16+. This movie looks like it would subvert male stereotypes as one of the main protagonist who is  a male happens to be a bit frightened, this would have been a bit unusual as men were 'supposed' to be fearless and emotionless. The use of the costumes for the characters imply that they are in their teens.
UZAK ANALYSIS
The genre of this film looks like its a thriller. The use of the long shot suggest to us that the main protagonist is lonely. The use of the costume also suggests to us that its set in the winter as we can see from the scenery that its snowing and looks rather cold. In addition the scenery behind him also communicates to us that something bad has happened in his city due to the dull clouds and the smoke coming out of buildings. This also gives us the narrative that someone may have come along and ruined the main protagonists city now its down to him to dig deep and find out who did, as the way he;s standing illustrates to us that he's almost analysising  everything almost like a detective. The use of the colour scheme suggests that this film going to be quite dull and not welcoming we can also see this from the use of different lighting . I believe that this films target audience is 12+.
I'M NOT SCARED ANALYSIS

This film looks like its a mystery film. We can see this as our main protagonist the boy is looking in a  hole which suggest that he's trying to discover something. The title 'i'm not scare' depicts how braves young boy is. He's also showing the audience d is ready for whatever he's about to experience. The use of the costume of the little boy communicates to us his age as he's wearing a stripey t shirt . The main protagonist looks around 13 years of age.the use of the dark lighting at the front suggest something unusual or mysterious and the use of the light blue sky suggests happiness yet the the big cloud coming from the right suggests otherwise. I think that the target audience for this film is PG.
SIN CITY ANALYSIS
The genre of this film looks like a thriller. We can see this through the props being used. In this case the guns being used which associates to violence and dangerous. The use of the font (San serif) shows us that this film is modern. the use of the colour red for the title we can infer that this film will have something to do with death and extreme violence. The use of the dark lighting suggest how fast pace this film will be as the rain is unsettling.i believe that the target audience for this film is 16+.
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ANALYSIS
I believe that the genre of this film is Action, Fantasy,Comedy and Adventure. I can clearly see this through the props being used and also the costumes and the lighting. The use of the different colours gives us a mysterious vibe that potentially these pirates want to go find treasure?I can infer that the main protagonist is Captain jack sparrow. He's an icon so we associate him with this movie. This film is target at 12 years and above (12+)
BRIDE AND PREJUDICE ANALYSIS
I believe that this film is a Bollywood film. The genres including romance, drama and comedy. I can tell that this is a Bollywood movie due to their beautiful traditional clothing. I can also infer that one of the main genres of this film is about romance due to the 2 main protagonist of the opposite sex potentially finding love. The use of the bright colours suggest love, light and happiness. i believe that this film will have a somewhat happy ending. This film is most likely aimed at an audience of 12+.

MILLION DOLLAR BABY
This films main protagonist is a female. I can see this from the main image, She looks powerfully and strong, i can see this due to her choice of clothing. She looks like she's in some sort of athletic team. The use of the dark lighting but light  lightening on her face suggests to us that she holds a lot of power and that we are going to experience the film from her perspective. The use of the colour scheme shows us that this films going to be intense an d may include a fight towards the end. This film is targeted at 15+. This female is already subverting many stereotypes.
