Nice strong opening - clear thought and background to artist which works well.

Clear ideas on genre but perhaps an old definition of R&B rather than what the genre has evolved into?

Again great to see specific songs already chosen for production , shows a clarity in planning.

Technical elements are well thought out and supported by strong image-driven slides. Clear visual plans for both video and point.

Really like the industries context- Independent label aired at women is interesting

Audience-interesting ideas but perhaps needs a little more depth/explanation

Presentation goes back to technical elements - more good points but in terms of structure and presentation its slightly mixed up.

Excellent Q on cultural backgrounds-not answered here but this would be great for the statement of intent

    Similar on genre -need to do the research to be able to discuss this confidently but plenty of opportunity to do this in statement of intent.

3) Write a paragraph discussing how your presentation will lead into your actual coursework production. Do you need to update your statement of intent? Does your concept/treatment offer enough clarity? Is it appropriate for the audience specified in the brief? Is it achievable to film with the resources you have available? Can you add media terminology or theory to your statement of intent now you have reflected on your presentation and seen others?

My presentation will lead to my coursework as I have clear visions which represent my artist effectively. My artist is very girly and sings about her life issues (breakups). My artist is simple yet effective, in my presentation I included a slide which shows a bedroom with fluffy blankets and LED lighting. My bedroom has near enough the same vibe so I already am achieving what I have in mind. My artists costumes are also the same as I included in the presentation. The RnB soul , hip hop genre will be included visually in my video through clothing, lighting and makeup which is also what i included in my presentation.

Statement of Intent feedback and learner response

 Comments for AQA:   This is the beginning of a good statement of intent with clear potential to reach the higher levels if it were complete with added clarity/detail. There is a strong concept here which is clearly well thought out. The statement offers a concept that largely meets the brief but currently doesn’t address the print aspect.  Industry element is a real strength with discussion of a small independent record company. However, lacking reference to digital convergence for the higher levels. Media language elements addressed in places with reference to shots and elements of mise-en-scene but lacking the detail or explanation required for the top levels. Print brief element lacking – statement unfinished. Similarly, very little on how representations will be created. This is a key area holding this back from the higher levels. Film poster analysis

  .BLADE RUNNER ANALYSIS    I think that this film is a sci-fi film due to the use of the colour scheme and the props. The use of the colours like white and green and a little bit of blue suggests that the film is going to be about a powerful man who is trying to save the world  from something evil(maybe aliens). The use of the close up shot of what looks like the main character can imply how he's going to be the main protagonist of the film and the person we see the film through (his perspective) That shot can also communicate his facial expressions to the audience as he looks a little distressed(due to him sweating) but ready to taken on whatever is on his way. He looks powerful. This perfectly enhances the stereotype of men being strong and powerful.
